What are the benefits of a Kindermusik class?

Kindermusik encourages your child to think, feel, move, sing and speak creatively, imaginatively and with every ounce of giggle, wiggle, whisper or shout he/she can muster.

Kindermusik is not a performance based course and so both shy through to very outgoing children can benefit greatly from the classes. The Kindermusik programs were created in consultation with leading professionals in fields such as speech and language, reading, child psychology, occupational therapy, music therapy, dance, movement, neurology, musicians and early childhood educators.

With Kindermusik, music becomes a natural part of your child’s life. A Kindermusik child experiences success with music every week and knows the fun of making music with others. With the home materials, both parents can also share in enjoying musical activities with their child. At the end of the program your child is eager for instrumental lessons, ready to sing in a choir, perform in stage musicals, join in music classes or ensembles, and has already experimented with reading and writing notation.
 

Kindermusik is a gently structured, flexible curriculum that allows your child to learn at his/her own pace. The goal isn’t necessarily to make your child a musician, but to encourage your child to be more eager to learn and develop their love for music.
